Summary:
The IT Security Manager partners with technology and business leaders in developing systems, networking, telecommunication, implementing and maintaining overall IT security, supporting the system component of QTC application platform, and other IT Security strategies and standards for the organization. The IT Security Manager works with all IT stakeholders as well as Finance and Business Units. This role is also responsible for staff oversight to ensure new IT security operations plans, policies, procedures, and transition/migration plans are consistent with the IT departmental goals as well as alignment to overall company goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the IT Security of the QTC Systems and Infrastructure technologies
• Oversee IT security architecture of IT systems and networks
• Perform day-to-day mentoring and management of the IT security team members
• Coordinate with external vendors/contractors to meet organizational goals
• Oversee the implementation of network security and audit at the corporate level and ensures sufficient measures are in place to protect the systems, data, and other information assets
• Direct agile scrum sprint planning to provide feedback on priorities and work closely with scrum master and product owners on delivery of the outlined user stories and points to ensure predictable sprints
• Develop, maintain, and administer network operational and administrative procedures and standards to meet or exceed defined Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Maintain and implement latest IT Security measures to support the deployment of key QTC application solutions including Production, Training, QA, and Development environments
• Ensure security infrastructure compliance with regulatory requirements related to SOX, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, PII and other QTC/Leidos audits
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Possess advance-level knowledge of a wide breadth of security infrastructure technologies to include, but not limited to Firewalls, Load balancers, reverse proxies, SIEM platforms, and the application of secure configuration of servers, applications, network devices, etc.

• Possess strong project management skills, with attention to detail
• Must possess the ability and flexibility to work extra hours and weekends
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 9 or more years previous Information Systems and Computer Network development experience.
• 7 or more years of management experience.
• Experience with enterprise-wide security, NIST and HIPAA compliance and working closely with internal and external system auditors.
• Must possess current certification or ability to obtain one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CCISO.
• Advance Technical Certifications strongly preferred (e.g. CCNP, MCSE, CISSP).
• Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
