Our client is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

Job Description:

• assisting in organizing M+ guide volunteer recruitment, onboarding and training;
• handling daily administrative tasks for the programme, which includes preparing roster and allowance payment on a monthly basis;
• keeping track of guide volunteers’ attendance and performance, answering inquiries and communicating with guide volunteers regularly on their overall experience;
• preparing and managing equipment and other materials for the guide volunteer programme;
• managing the record of the programme and keeping the overall database about the volunteer up-to-date; and
• other related duties for the smooth running of guide volunteer programmes, such as liaising with other departments for on-site logistic arrangements.

Requirements:

• possess a recognised university degree, preferably in cultural management, art administration, art education or equivalent;
• have 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the capacity of coordinator or officer in volunteer projects;
• have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• be self-motivated and able to work independently and cooperatively with others in a fast-paced environment;
• possess strong administrative and programme coordination skills;
• be highly organised and detail-oriented;
• have good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese;
• be occasionally work at the weekends, evenings and public holidays if programmes or training are arranged;
• be proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word processing.

*Candidate with less experience may be considered for Volunteer Programme Assistant.
