Securitas Hiring for Assistant Director – Contracting Sales at Changi Full Time

The incumbent is responsible for defining, developing, and delivering sales targets for the team and overseeing day-to-day sales activities. Effective strategic planning to achieve desirable profit-making results for the business.

 Job Responsibilities:

Profitable Growth

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base for Electronic Security – Contracting Business. 
• Develop short- & long-term sales forecasts.
• Own and hit/exceed sales targets assigned.
• Understand category-specific landscapes and market trends.
• Manage commercial risks, understand customer requirements, review commercial offers, and finalize scope & deliverables with the best achievable gross margin.
• Work seamlessly with peers to drive growth in Contracting sales together with Vertical sales and Solutions sales.
• Grow share of wallet for existing clients and retention of clients

Customer Satisfaction

• Drive customer satisfaction improvement as a key performance indicator for both behavior (e.g., responsiveness) and operation performance (e.g., quality, deadlines).
• Achieve good NPS for existing clients.
• Devise and implement strategies for maintaining relationships in existing accounts, thereby ensuring high customer satisfaction by providing complete solution/product support.
• Understand the underlying needs of customers and incorporate these insights into strategic business development.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Efficiency 

• Drive systems and process implementation to achieve continuous productivity improvements.
  • Implement and reinforce the sales process management system.
  • Reinforce sales efficiency across sales and pre-sales teams. 
• Optimize Indirect costs by reallocating resources, decreasing costs in specific areas, and proposing investments with reasonable returns.
• Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

HR

• Assure overall team satisfaction and motivation.
• Develop people through coaching and training – technical, commercial, and managerial.
• Recruit high-potential sales talents.
• Define a succession plan for the next 3 years.
• Conduct Annual Performance Appraisal and Competency Career Review for sales team

Job Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred. However, other relevant degrees may also be considered.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
• Managerial Experience: A proven track record in a managerial role for at least 5 years.
• Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma in Engineering or a related field should have more than 15 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Qualities

• Industry knowledge/track record in the Electronic Security System Integration field would be strongly preferred.
• A hands-on leader with extensive experience in sales, marketing, project, and service management
• Commercially savvy with strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Proven large turnkey project sales experience.
• Ability to foresee and mitigate project/commercial risks.
• Excellent team and people management skills with an ability to embrace new cultures and diversities.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate sales teams. 
• Mature and stable team builder with a track record of leading the team from the front.
• Proficient in analytical thinking, strategic conceptualization, and effective execution 
• An out-of-the-box thinker with a flair for charting out sales and marketing strategies.
• High energy levels with the ability to strategize and have a holistic view.
• High levels of perseverance, strong integrity, and ethical values.
• Effective communication and presentation skills at all organizational levels
• Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
