• Review a various range of commercial contracts (e.g., Service Agreement, Master Service Agreement, Tenders, NDA, MoU, Sub-contracting Agreement, Lease Agreement, Licensing Agreement, and Partnership Agreement) to secure legitimate interest of the company
• Draft a wide range of legal documents (e.g., letters, agreements, submissions, statements, court forms, disclaimers, and term sheets) as assigned by supervisor
• Render practical and well-reasoned advices on legal and regulatory matters arising from daily operation and business projects concerning corporate law, contract law, Intellectual property law, data privacy, insurance, litigation, and corporate governance matters to mitigate legal risk exposure of the company
• Able to deal with request, inquiry or investigations initiated by Authority and Regulatory Body with professional and diplomatic approach
• Conduct due-diligence with due care and skills against new and existing customers, vendors, suppliers, and external business partners in accordance with company policy and management direction
• Participate in civil litigations (including ADR settlement) and procedure with assistance from group counsels, external counsels, and professional advisors
• Take part in local or oversea M&A transactions to ensure the compliance with group policy, and other legal requirements
• Take in charge of company secretarial matters, to prepare board resolution and submit CR form in accordance with local law requirement
• Assist and coordinate in legal and incorporation matters with other SGS affiliates
• Other ad-hoc assignment given by supervisor from time to time

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or Business Administration
• At least 3 years’ work experience in in-house legal office; candidate with MNC work experience is favourable
• Mature, independent, practical and with strong business sense

• Willing to act with agility, mobility, and integrity in fast-changing corporate culture
• Excellent command in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
