“The Anti-Piracy Investigator and Intelligence Analyst position in ROI is a role within the Anti-Piracy Investigations and Intelligence team, who focus on combating the distribution of Sky content through piracy! ” – AP I&I Manager UK&I
What you’ll do:
Taking the lead, with the support of the I&I Managers, on Anti-Piracy cases.
Conducting open-source intelligence gathering and research to identify suspects and develop the intelligence picture of investigations.
Proactively identify investigative targets and opportunities through OSINT and data interrogation.
Produce evidential packages, including witness statements and exhibits, for use in legal proceedings or disclosure to law enforcement.
Brief management and senior leadership on key investigative developments and significant threats to Sky.
Develop close working relationships with internal and external patterns involved in the fight against piracy.
What you’ll bring:
Formal Investigative background in Law Enforcement, Government or Industry with proven experience.
Knowledge of relevant investigative and disclosure legislation and procedures, awareness of exhibit handling, statement writing and evidence continuity / rules.
Experience conducting investigations into criminal organisations that operate online and ability to employ OSINT/SOCINT research to enrich intelligence / evidence.
Track record of personal integrity, discretion and professionalism.
Confident, assertive and professional in dealing with the business, industry and stakeholders whilst working with sensitive information.
A positive mentality, can do attitude, ability to work as part of a group team and desire to continuously develop and improve
Security
We help combat piracy and theft of Sky content – making it as hard as possible for pirates to steal our content, operate their networks, and provide their services. We also have a team of investigators to explore a wide range of criminal threats against Sky, its people and assets. This can range from data loss, to piracy, to financial crime, helping make everyone and everything #SafeAtSky
