What you ll do:
UK&I Technology
Ground-breaking projects. Innovative tech. Top innovation. Join our UK&I Technology team and you ll work across technology projects that drive our TV, broadband, mobile and Sky Connect services. You ll be at the heart of delivering the technology roadmaps that support our UK and Ireland businesses, with a focus on customer innovations for Sky Glass. That s not all. You ll also design, develop and deliver digital services for millions of customers across the UK.
As part of the UK&I Architecture & Platform Engineering leadership team you ll head up the Performance and Reliability function, leading the team and defining their strategy – focussing on all things non-functional from throughput and scalability to resilience, recoverability, and security.
What you ll bring:
Leadership – a track record of providing inspirational leadership to teams and demonstrated leadership qualities.
Technical excellence – demonstrable experience of driving non-functional best-practice to the heart of a technology operation. Adopting SRE functions in areas such Infrastructure and access monitoring, cloud security, governance policy and technical operations
Continuous improvement – a proven record in your field but with knowledge the job is never done. Y ou are forward-looking and restless for better outcomes.
Organisational Awareness – knowledge of leading both internal stakeholders and counterparts in interfacing organisations. Ability to think of approach beyond establishing traditional support arrangement boundaries for internal service management .

Our lively campus is a free shuttle bus away from Livingston South train station and the town centre. Plus there s onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
You ll be well fed at our subsidised canteen, and you can keep in shape at our onsite gym – or play a game of pool or table tennis.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
On campus, you ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed, and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

Our spacious tech hub is less than a mile from Leeds train station. There s plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.
Need a break? You can blow off steam over a game of pool or table tennis, and stay fit at our subsidised gym.

Brentwood
This location takes some beating: we re practically in Brentwood station, which has regular trains to London Liverpool Street. If you find it easier to drive, there s some onsite parking, while Chatham Way car park is a short walk away.

Our Brick Lane office is in the heart of the East End of London. It s part of a vibrant and diverse community; close to street food, cafes and shops.
The closest tube station is Aldgate East and Liverpool Street is about a 10-minute walk.
