An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Youth Work Coordinator to join our Ozanam House team in Dublin. Working directly with older young people and supporting volunteers to run a young person’s activity programme, the Youth Work Coordinator will oversee and coordinate all aspects of youth programmes in Ozanam House and continue to develop quality youth programmes to meet the needs and interests of young people from our community. In doing so, they will oversee all aspects of all youth services in Ozanam House. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young people/volunteers and excellent interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
A Third level qualification in Youth & Community work (essential) or an equivalent professional qualification or relevant degree (essential)
At least two years’ experience working with young people in a youth work setting (essential)
Face-to-face youth work experience
Experience of working with volunteers.
Experience of programme development
Experience of working in collaboration with other community, voluntary and/or statutory agencies.
Experience in coordinating programmes for young people in a similar setting would be an advantage.
Energised and motivated individual who has an empathy and understanding of our organisation goals.
