Software Resources, Inc. Looking for Sr. QA Engineer (Manual Functional Test execution) at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for an on-site and remote Manual Functional QA Lead, contract to hire position in Century City/West Los Angeles, CA.

This role is on-site in Century City 1 day a week (Thursdays) and remote 4 days
Seasoned Manual Tester with SQL and Salesforce is a huge plus. Candidates need experience with .Net applications—must be comfortable with Window applications. Firsthand knowledge of BAT, SQL, Jmeter /performance testing concepts, web services, etc.
Must be self-starter who can work independently, ask the right questions—identify bugs, fix them and they understand and communicate how it happened so doesn’t happen in future and/or how they fix might affect something else that they need to fix.

The Information Technology group is seeking a quality assurance professional who will support their Salesforce implementation, custom application development and various IT-related initiatives.
Qualifications & Capabilities:
– Strong, practical quality assurance experience with mid-to-large enterprises
-Strong hands-on manual functional testing experience
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Experience with Scrum or other agile methodology
– Hands-on implementer and executor of test planning & execution
– Requirements analysis
– Testing strategy & estimation
– Gap analysis and impact assessment
– Manual test case execution; defect & triage activities
– Strong to moderate knowledge of SQL/MS SQL Server
– Queries, unions, joins and other statements
– Stored procedures
– Experience with open-source test automation frameworks for web applications and Selenium Webdriver is a plus
– Experience with high-level programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python, etc.) is a plus
– Working knowledge of Salesforce
– Knowledge of Workday is a plus
– Working knowledge of Oracle, SAP or other ERP system is a plus
– Working knowledge of reporting and data analytics s/w & tools is a plus
– Experience in the financial arena is a plus
– Candidates with open-source automation experience is plus.
