Description : We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Houston, TX.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students develop communication skills and providing support to our speech-language pathologists.
Responsibilities :
Assist speech-language pathologists in providing services to students with speech and language disorders.
Implement therapeutic interventions under the guidance of licensed speech-language pathologists.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress.
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
Texas state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
