St Luke’s Health Looking for Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology Infusion- East Full Time
Job Description
Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their outpatient Infusion Oncology. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination, research studies, provide patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assist with procedures, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to improving patient outcomes.
HOURS: Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities:
Phone Triage
Schedules emergent-need appointments.
Patient follow-up calls.
Patient education on particular procedures and processes.
Subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units.
Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments.
Care for patients with a long-term treatment process.
Collaborate on a care team and provide face-to-face patient care
Maintain ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
Job Requirements
Applicable Experience:
2 yearsBasic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate – Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, Registered Nurse – VariousBachelor’s DegreeJob Details Full TimeDay (United States of America)
