Steamboat is looking for an organized individual to coordinate the use, development, and implementation of a CMMS which will support the planning of preventative maintenance work and the scheduling of various jobs for the Facilities & Grounds Maintenance teams at SSRC and the Steamboat Grand Hotel. Apply today Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.: Implement and manage the Asset and Inventory management modules of the CMMS Plan for and prioritize work and assignments to staff and 3rd party vendors, Delegation of work requests to the appropriate parties Enter new equipment and new preventative tasks into the CMMS Manage the schedule of staff and 3rd party vendors, jobs and daily priorities taking into consideration the time of year and upcoming events and buildings and facilities startup/shutdown processes Assist the Engineering Manager in the planning and development of large-scale maintenance projects for SSRC Ability to be available for home telephone contact in the event of an emergency Responsible for the formulation and administration of Engineering team scheduling and departmental record keeping Manage and supervise CMMS staff to include coaching, disciplinary actions, interviewing and separations with review of Manager and HR Ensure and document maintenance tasks performed and ensure that all documentation is complete and correct Assist Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Director with budgeting for future in house projects, capital maintenance project requests and general building/appliance preventative maintenance Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Other duties, as assigned Minimum skills, experience, education, and ability required for this job : Must have experience in industrial maintenance management and maintenance planning, general knowledge of mechanics and equipment maintenance High school graduate or equivalent
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Word Minimum 5 years’ experience doing commercial maintenance Prior supervisory experience required Ability to problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates, and co-workers Ability to be a consistent role model for company’s Service Excellence standards Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and material safety data requirements Working knowledge of budget development and forecast, contract review, proposal process development and construction processes. Must be organized and structured in their thinking, with an eye for detail
Must successfully complete a background check Must meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have current Driver’s license, a successful motor vehicle record, background check is required. Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards Physical Requirements : Must be able to operate snow machines and other heavy equipment safely
Must be able to ski or snowboard at a minimum intermediate level Must be able to safely operate company motor vehicles Must be able to travel around the mountain in inclement conditions
Must be able to frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be at least 18 years of age Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written Miscellaneous information : The person in this position will always provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) and when interacting with the guest, will respond to all guests in a courteous efficient manner. Must be able to think and work as a team player; we accomplish our goals working as a team, coordinating our efforts towards a common goal

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.
The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
