Steelcase Looking for Employee And New Hire Navigator at Grand Rapids, MI Full Time

We are hiring an Employee & New Hire Navigator to own the experience of salaried new hires across the U.S. and enhance employee experiences throughout the lifecycle of their careers at Steelcase.

What You Will Be Doing:?

• Owning and facilitating the experience of new hire orientation both in person and for virtual new hires, which includes creating best practices and continuously improving to ensure a best-in-class orientation experience for new hires.
• Working with hiring managers to share orientation process and best practices for onboarding ensuring each new hire has a robust plan.
• Connecting employees to career development tools and resources and may provide basic career coaching.
• Integrating with an HR Business Partner pod to ensure connection to a specific client group and the employees therein.
• Maintaining a strong presence with employees to build trusted relationships.
• Managing employee exit process within assigned client groups including exit interviews and administration.
• Connecting employees to key Global Talent resources and partners.

Who You Are:??

Required Skills and Competencies??

• Strong customer service orientation with a desire and ability to regularly interact with employees and build trusted relationships
• Enjoys speaking in front of smaller groups
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with stakeholders
• Ability to manage a complex, dynamic inflow of work and prioritize
• Ability to think proactively. Strong attention to detail and passionate about keeping commitments
• Strong collaborator with the ability to navigate organizational complexity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel

Preferred Skills and Competencies?

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Hospitality, or similar field
