At Steelcase, the Sales Finance Team is looking for a managerial level finance professional to help drive the company’s strategic initiatives by partnering with the business.??This business partner role has a seat at the table with our sales?leaders and will?influence decisions by bringing insights from a?financial?perspective.?

What you will be doing:??

The Finance Manager partners with?our leaders for two different businesses (one global and one regional) in support of?driving the top line, day-to-day decision support?and assisting the leaders exceed/meet their overall targets and business plans. You are instrumental and have responsibility of supporting teams managing and driving close to 1B in sales annually.?

Your responsibilities will include:?

• Influence and driving impact
• Being a trusted financial business partner
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Planning + forecasting
• Continuous improvement of processes and systems

With minimal coaching and direction, you will be?performing?a wide range of analyses which require a deep understanding of the business and advanced level of broad analytical skills. Finally, you will be expected to identify issues, make recommendations supported by analysis and sound business insights and in some cases lead or be on the team that implement those recommendations.?

Who you are:

• Required skills and competencies:?
• At least 5 years of previous experience
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• General understanding of economic trends along with curiosity in the drivers of market changes
• Ability to interact with business partners and identifies concerns and proposes solutions
• Strong planning and management skills
• Solid experience in developing and leading/influencing high performance and self-directed sales teams

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in SAP/BPC
• MS Office
• Tableau

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• MBA, CPA, CMA or other evidence of technical competence preferred? ?
