Steelcase Looking for Senior IT Global Auditor at Grand Rapids, MI Full Time

This position supports a hybrid work schedule.

Steelcase is looking to hire a Senior IT Auditor to join their global team by conducting value-added audits to ensure controls over the company’s new and existing information technology is commensurate with technology risks, including cybersecurity and SOX modernization, all while bringing your uniqueness to our diverse and inclusive culture.

What you will be doing:??

Your goal in this position is to help the Global Internal Audit team identify risks and opportunities for improvement while becoming a trusted partner with the IT organization and build connections across the company.

As a part of the Global Internal Audit team, you will lead the execution of the internal audit plan and activities, which include:

• Perform audits of systems processes and controls
• Test Information Technology General Controls supporting the SOX program and external audit
• Participate in the implementation of ERP systems across the company and its subsidiaries with a focus on compliance and control
• Monitor the cybersecurity framework and collaborate with experts on cyber risks and controls
• Develop compliance solutions around data through discovery of potential financial/operational risks and issues through audits of data architecture and quality
• Develop your skills through specific trainings and broad experience across the company, creating opportunities for future rotations into another finance functional team
• Act as the face of the global internal audit team when leading audit projects and facilitate the communication of audit reports with management

Global Internal Audit Services at Steelcase will partner with the business to strengthen a culture of compliance & control and efficiency to support the business’s strategic initiatives.

We have approximately 10 team members who use a risk-based approach, leveraging data-insights, to help drive strategic decisions while cultivating talent to groom future business leaders across the organization.

Who you are:?

Required Skills and Competencies??

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
• Three or more years of applicable experience
• CPA or CIA required

Preferred Skills and Competencies?

• CISA and/or CFE
• Information technology or financial systems knowledge
• SEC client or manufacturing experience
• Global business experience and additional language skills
