AMQ Solutions is hiring a Showroom Manager responsible for leveraging the AMQ Mid-Market Showroom as an effective sales tool and creating an engaging client experience. As the first point of contact, you will ensure a positive customer experience both in-person and virtually. This position develops the sales opportunity using soft selling tools, continual maintenance of existing product, oversight of mockup set up and breakdown, and design integrity throughout the showroom for all AMQ brands.
What you will be doing:
• Lead all facets of the customer experience in AMQ’s dedicated showroom, which includes touch points from initial interest through post visit follow up
• Work with dealers and sales personnel to effectively strategize on approach in advance and lead dynamic customer engagements
• Host virtual and in-person events as required
• Provide product information and assistance to the sales team, dealer sales personnel, and end users and demonstrate products and furniture applications for customers
• Provide new dealer and AMQ sales personnel showroom training
• Book and administer conference and office space reservations, catering requests and AV/technology set up and resources
• Manage service support for the showroom
• Bid and source competitive service support for moves, adds, changes, technology requirements, etc.
• Manage allocated budget effectively
• Collaborate with product marketing, brand communications and sales leaders to ensure relevant and timely updates are made within the showroom
• Responsible for accurate and timely CRM updates, as required

• Demonstrate an understanding of AMQ mid-market business
• Understand how AMQ’s value proposition can support the critical business issues, typical of a mid-market customer
• Knowledge of complete applications, lines of products, services, customer issues and their distinctive needs
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills necessary to influence all levels of internal and external customers
• Ability to articulate and demonstrate workplace furniture applications by pinpointing client needs
• Self-starter with a strong commitment to excellence
• Expert interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to exercise diplomacy and judgment in all facets of the job, including setting priorities and providing information and guidance to others in carrying out assigned responsibilities
• Gracious and hospitable demeanor
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and virtual collaboration tools
• Superior organization & administrative skills, and a thorough understanding of field sales office procedures, company policies & procedures, and the ability to apply this knowledge to make decisions effectively
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Familiarity with AMQ/Steelcase products is beneficial
