Stone Search Looking for CCIE Certified Network Solutions Engineer at Hoboken, NJ Full Time

This position can be hybrid.

Our client, a leading provider of digital infrastructure, cloud and security solutions, is seeking a Network Solutions Engineer who will develop and deploy solutions for enterprise environments. 

This role will require an expert understanding of and experience with a wide variety of network technologies and software tools in order to provide world-class solutions to our clients.

Required Qualifications

• CCIE certification in at least one specialization is must
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering or computer science field preferred
• 5+ years of relevant Network Engineering experience supporting enterprise environments

Required Skills and Responsibilities

• Interact with global customers and decompose goals into bespoke solutions
• Ability to create clear documentation: High/low-level designs, BoMs, operational handover
• Proven ability to deliver complex network solutions from design to completion
• Expert understanding of data center and WAN/MAN architectures
• Expert understanding campus network technologies and NAC controls
• Expertise with software-defined network technologies (Cisco ACI, SD-Access, SD-WAN)
• Expertise with next-generation firewall platforms (Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto)
• Subject matter expertise across Layer 3 routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and IP multicast
• Provide level 3 escalation support to NOC via on-call rotation
• Experience with network management tools such as Solarwinds, Netbrain, Nagios, etc

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and deploying Cisco DWDM platforms
• Solid understanding of common telephony protocols and transports (SIP, RTP, H.323)
• Design and deployment experience of hyper converged infrastructure (Cisco Hyperflex, Nutanix)
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
• Experience with Ansible, Ansible Tower and YAML
