UX Specialist for Website Redesign

LOCAL ATLANTA CANDIDATES

• The Client is looking for a User Experience (UX) Specialist who understands the business requirements and needs and can integrate customers from five differentiated lines of business and marketing that support mission-critical goals across the enterprise of state government.
• The UX Specialist will be expected to work with IT and Communications teams to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
• Additionally, the UX Specialist will play a vital role in developing a comprehensive strategy to enhance user engagement and experiences throughout the customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of UXO strategies with the goal of improving customer service and  engagement rates and increasing conversion rates and revenue for specific lines of business.

• Consult and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create industry leading experiences that deliver  value to our employees and customers across five lines of business.

• Work with customers and stakeholders to understand detailed requirements to create a complete user  experience that meets  customers’ needs and vision.

• Develop user research plans, track, and utilize feedback to monitor and develop action plans to gain a deep  understanding of users.

• Collaborate with IT and Communications teams to make strategic design and user-experience  decisions related to core and new functions and features.

• Apply design standards, industry guidelines, and best practices to ensure designs and content are usable  and accessible.

• Assist with designing and developing artifacts that include personas, journey maps, user workflows, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

• Monitor and compile reports using analytics, search engine optimization, benchmarking and tracking for  analysis and planning.

• Contribute to optimization processes, tools and strategies to increase efficiencies and results.

• Identify design challenges and collaborate with IT and Communications teams to identify solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Service Design, Communication Design, or Computer Science.

• Five (5) years or more of relevant work experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have  experience with search engine optimization and additional experience with Google Optimize and/or other  testing platforms.

• Strong grasp of UX and UI standards.

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

• Digital portfolio or work examples preferred.
