A professional services firm in New Jersey is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join their staff as a Desktop Support Analyst. In this role, the Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for working closely with and supporting internal staff as well as our clients with various hardware and software applications.
Responsibilities: The Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for:
Providing technical support of our 160+ user base encompassing both phone & desktop support
Remote desktop assistance; End user support with various issues pertaining to software applications, Windows 10, primary computer and peripheral hardware configurations
Windows image creation and deployment
Inventory management and asset tracking
MS Office 2016 / 365 support (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
Mobile device management/configuration
VPN support/troubleshooting
Troubleshooting and repair of desktops/laptops
Mitigation and removal of viruses/malware
Handling Audio/Visual setup – VOIP phones, conference bridges, video conferences
Providing additional assistance to IT Dept. as various projects arise
Providing after-hours support during peak seasons or as needed
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of Technical Support experience in a small to mid-size firm
Experience in a Big 4 or other public accounting firm is a plus
A+/Network+ certification
Technically well versed in Windows 10
Experience with Office 2016/365, QuickBooks, Quicken, & Adobe Acrobat
Experience using desktop support ticketing & asset inventory systems
Experience with Mobile Device Management support & setup
Knowledge of Windows system migration/user profiling
Experience with Windows image deployment/configuration
Solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
