The Execu|Search Group Looking for Product Owner (Hybrid) at New York, NY Full Time

A New York City-based education network is currently seeking a new Product Owner for a promising Hybrid position with their growing Application Development team. In this role, the Product Owner (Hybrid) will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications for the network staff and families.

Responsibilities:
The Product Owner (Hybrid) will:

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap and backlog for multiple applications, including new feature collection, improvements to existing products, and technical debt prioritization
• Oversee and execute every step of the software development lifecycle from conceptualization to maintenance using an Agile methodology
• Gather product requirements from users and/or stakeholders through feedback sessions and working group meetings and translate those requirements into user stories to prioritize for future sprints
• Gather information and liaise with stakeholders to remove roadblocks for the scrum team that enable software and business objectives
• Manage a team of software developers and business analysts while forming strong relationships with cross-team stakeholders
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer first mindset
• Experience launching major feature sets or products, from conception and ideation
• UX sensibility to create excellent experiences for users
• Excitement to understand and learn an existing and complex system
• Experience working on a team that utilizes modern technologies and languages, such as AWS, python, etc.
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Associate Product Manager, Software Developer, or relevant experience
• Prior experience working in Technology or Education
• Proficiency with Confluence and Jira, or similar Product/Project Management software
• Experience working in an Agile environment
