The Execu|Search Group Looking for Senior Technical Project Manager (Remote) at New York, NY Full Time

A New York City media services organization is currently seeking a new Technical Program Manager for a promising Senior-level and Remote position with their growing staff. In this role, the Senior Technical Program Manager (Remote) will be responsible for focusing on Product Development and working with the Product and Technology team leaders focused on all aspects of the company’s content pipeline.

Responsibilities:
The Senior Technical Project Manager (Remote) will:

• Master, own, and manage (SME) the various Platforms and Product offerings and interdependencies across the business
• Collaborate and closely communicate with product, operations, engineering, quality engineering, and other interdepartmental resources to successfully drive projects to completion with the highest level of quality
• Manage multiple, complex programs simultaneously
• Manage clear communication of progress/status with project stakeholders
• Adapt to changing conditions and modify project execution plan as appropriate while managing multiple projects concurrently
• Prepare and present Executive-level presentations and communications
• Proactively highlight and resolve risks and issues and clearly communicate those risks to stakeholders
• Identify blockers and facilitate the removal of those blockers
• Manage internal and external program dependencies
• Absorb project status from engineering stand-up and sprint planning meetings without adding additional meeting burden
• Define and execute a high caliber communication plan for complex projects and programs
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience managing cross functional projects
• Bachelor’s Degree
• CSM (or PSM), PMP
• Extensive experience with SDLC methodologies without being dogmatic about any single way of doing things
• Extensive experience in Project Management Methodologies and Frameworks without being dogmatic about any single way of doing things
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate many parties working collaboratively and efficiently.
• Working experience with JIRA/Confluence and Google Apps, including JQL queries.
• Familiar with apps that manage large data sets and rich metadata;
• Experience creating KPIs, dashboards and metrics
• Experience with Project management software such MS Project, Project365, or similar
• Experience engaging directly with Senior Leadership
• Experience in a high-volume production environment involving many transactions is a must
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Knowledge of music industry, rights, and digital service providers preferred
• Deep passion for Streaming Media
• Solid problem solving and time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• PMP, Agile Scrum Master Certification(CSM or PSM)
• Relevant certifications such as SAFE or PSPO or PgMP
• Experience with Media or Content-rich products or services
• Prior experience with music metadata
• Experience working with ad-based, digital streaming technologies and providing oversight for medium-to-large product launches
• Knowledge of Music industry, rights, and digital service providers
• Previous Mobile, Web, or Backend Streaming Media Development experience
