The Majestic Hotel, Tramore Hiring for Part Time Night Porter Job at Tramore Full Time
The Majestic Hotel is currently hiring for a part time position of Night Porter to work the night shift of 10pm to 7am. This may be on weekend nights or weekdays. We are looking for someone who can work 2 nights a week.
The following are some duties (not limited to):
– Being responsible for hotel and guest security and safety
– Maintaining the agreed standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel, public areas, front entrance and outside of the Hotel
– Running night audits
– Serving food and drink
– Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night
– Ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided to all our guests
– Responsible for overall health & safety at night including fire walks, security checks, and any other relevant health & safety duties e.g., first aid
– Front Office duties including running the night audit report and check-in and check-out of guests
· Cleaning and preparing the hotel for service for the following day
· Responsibility for the front entrance and outside of the hotel and ensure that it is clean and tidy at all times. This includes emptying bins, picking up rubbish etc
The ideal candidate should have the following:
– Previous hospitality experience is preferred
– Excellent organisational skills
– A warm, friendly, and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
– The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team
– Previous training in first aid, manual handling and fire training a distinct advantage but not essential.
– Good level of spoken English is required
– Must have a professional and friendly approach whilst providing excellent customer service.
