How will you make an impact? (Objective)
We currently have a territory opening in Argentina for a Sr. Level Sales Professional with the proven aptitude to sell across the entire product portfolio within the BioProduction Division, part of Life Sciences Solutions Group (LSG). As a member of our dynamic, high-achieving sales team, you will use your business acumen and sales professionalism to establish new markets while building on existing ones.
What will you do? (Responsibilities)
This position will focus on selling Cell Culture, Purification, Single Use Technology & Pharma Analytics business incl. instruments, consumables, software, and services to the QA/QC and Process Development areas within Pharmaceutical or other sterile manufacturing environments.
The ability to speak English as well as fluency in Spanish is required.
Candidate can be based out of any city in Argentina but preferably in Buenos Aires.
How will you get here?
Minimum Qualifications (must have) The position requires knowledge and skills normally acquired through completion:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree (B.S, M.A, PhD.) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology.
Requires at least 5 years of successful sales experience of cell culture media, bulk chromatography resins, filtration or consumables products technology related to the manufacturing of bio-therapeutics or plasma fractionation products.
Requires an excellent understanding of cell culture, and chromatography, with a strong preference for an excellent understanding of both upstream and downstream purification in process development.
Experience selling PCR, sequencing-based products into QA/QC, and Process Development areas, within the specified region, is a strong plus.
The ability to manage others and be part of an effective team is a must.
Proactive attitude, ambition, and the confidence necessary to achieve assigned quota.

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):
Experience in working with Key Accounts is desirable.
Supervision Received Weekly discussions with the primary sales manager and product manager regarding territory activity.
Meets periodically with Manager(s) to resolve outstanding sales situations and discuss sales activities and plans. Works independently on daily activities in accordance with the sales activity plan.
Receives specific guidance from product management in special sales situations.
