University of Virginia Looking for Integrated Solutions Engineer OR Senior Integrated Solutions Engineer at Charlottesville, VA Full Time

UVA Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking an Integrated Solutions Engineer or Senior Integrated Solutions Engineer (depending upon experience) to join the Integration Services team. This position will be responsible for analysis, design, development, implementation, documentation, and support of integrations using the Boomi product. Applicants will need to have experience in connecting to data, whether through direct connections to databases or through a data access layer (e.g., API), extensive experience developing integrations, ETLs, data flows, and APIs using integration platforms and the ability to understand and work with large, complex systems.

Duties Include:

• Building data acquisition and integration solutions aligned with business needs
• Managing data analysis and data integration of disparate systems
• Implementing processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data sources as necessary
• Developing and documenting solutions that support engineering standards emphasizing robustness of solution, reliability, manageability, performance and scalability
• Providing problem-solving expertise and complex analysis of data to develop business intelligence integration designs
• Working with Analysts and Business Users to translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment
• Converting physical data integration models and other design specifications to source code
• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma and at least 3 years of related work experience

· Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with system users, internal clients, and developers

· Self-motivated, resourceful, and inclusive

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be a team player with the ability to share knowledge and mentor others

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with the Boomi product

· Java and Groovi Development within Boomi

· Prior integration experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Salesforce and Workday

· SQL Development

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Technology-related field preferred

Anticipated hiring range: $80,000 – $120,000
