Our client a leading asset management firm, located in New York City is looking to hire a Full Stack Enterprise Developer. The candidate will oversee and participate in the design, development and enhancement of business applications with an emphasis on trading systems, portfolio systems and their many integrations. The is a Full-Time position that is 100% in person. Proof of vaccine is required by the Client.

SUMMARY

The candidate will oversee and participate in the design, development, and enhancement of business applications with an emphasis on trading, portfolio systems and its many integrations. This includes development of back-end batch processing, operational front-end development, and reporting. The candidate will interface with the business, from senior level management, down to end users. Good knowledge of the business and strong communication skills is essential. Demonstrates expertise in variety of the field’s concept, practices, and procedures. May provide consultation on complex projects and is a top-level contributor/specialist. The candidate is passionate about learning new aspects of the business, financial markets and technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement full-stack software solutions.
• Working with Trading and Accounting team to handle their day-to-day activities and support.
• Develop back-end systems utilizing technologies including C#, Web API, Micro Services, .Net Frameworks including .Net Core, T-SQL (SQL Server)
• Develop modern front-end systems utilizing technologies including Blazor, Bootstrap, React, Angular.
• Maintenance and enhancements to legacy front end ASP.Net MVC applications
• Interpret functional and business requirements, design and implement solutions and architecture suited to our current business model and enhance them.
• Implement information technology infrastructure for development of products, as well as integrate internal applications with third party applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hands on experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server, Azure DevOps.
• Working experience in IT at Financial Institutions.
• Working experience in enterprise batch applications and full stack development of web technology solutions
• Mastery of various programming languages, software architectures and development tools.
• Ability to define and apply technology related standards and processes.
• Experience in application modularization and modernization including adoption of Micro Service Architecture models
• DevOps experience in building, maintaining, and executing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), DevOps solutions, architecture patterns, or similar DevOps task.
• Experience with Containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or other comparable tools.
• Experience with Automated Testing Integration, Change and Release Management, and Experience automating processes.
• Proficiency with .net frameworks, including .net core, using C#, Blazor, ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, Bootstrap, jQuery, JavaScript, Angular, Power BI.
• Expertise in T-SQL and SQL Server database management system.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of Asset Management Domain is required.
• Experience with Charles River Investment Management Solution, CRD workflow customization, administration, and integration with other systems.
• Experience with Advent Portfolio Exchange or other portfolio management solutions is a big plus.
