The Role
Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance and insights on business strategy, market trends, and competitive intelligence;
Support the regional finance lead in P&L management for respective countries/cluster & businesses (revenue, expense, profitability);
Work with cluster/country finance teams to ensure effective delivery of insightful financial information, timely and accurate forecasts and other finance data as required.
Support effective decision-making on regional revenue and expense management actions and identifies opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for growth and development of the organization;
Supports the regional finance leader in all strategic initiatives that impact countries/clusters such as M&A, investment opportunities, enterprise operational initiatives, etc;
Drive the development of the monthly cluster/business forecasts and annual plan with identification of associated risks and opportunities;
Supports the execution of transformation projects and initiatives;
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including placement, claims, finance, and legal teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to business operations;
Engage and partner with Corporate FP&A to support business financial. Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management on business performance and trends
Accountabilities
Provide insights and strategic support to business, supporting them with efficient and effective decision-making, leading to growth in the business;
Ensure that the regions business meets its financial and non-financial goals;
Work closely with country Finance & Business management to develop and implement business strategies
Critical Success Factors
Provision of clear guidance on industry trends based on key performance metrics to fuel business growth across countries/segments;
Provision of effective communication with teams both internal(underwriting, claims, finance, and legal teams)
Develop and manage strong working relationships with various departments within Finance as well as with leaders in Segments, Geographies and Corporate Functions
The Requirements
At least 8-10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis in regional capacity
Must haves: Good excel skills & experience in using Oracle General Ledger system.
Good to have: Experience in using Power BI
